Building around your well head involves considering several factors, each with its own implications. When the pump goes out leave room for a service truck with a boom so they can pull the pump out of the well. Do not put power wires over head. I know everyone loves landscape flowers and rocks but be prepared to move them if they are in the way to back a truck in. Leave a road to the well your gonna need a pump truck unless its shallow on poly or a jet pump. If its in a wetland be prepared to be out of water if the pump fails in the spring when it floods or have a road to the well head.
